"Linking knowledge and thoughts in order to shape our future" will be the motto of TEDxCoimbra event held on the 16th October in Coimbra!

The event will take place at the Pole of Health Sciences, University of Coimbra, and it will last from 9am to 6pm. Our TEDx speakers are experts in many areas, and the promoters of the event are Ana Cristina Arromba, Frederico Dinis, Jorge Figueira and Sandra Oliverira.

The concept TED is translated as “Technology, Entertainment and Design” and it is a conference that provides an opportunity for our society's best thinkers to present their ideas. This TEDx, organized independently, but approved by the organizers of TED Global, will make an atmosphere of promoting culture, characterized by shared knowledge and experiences of the participants who united their rich and strong personalities during this event.

Of all the speakers at the event we will be counting on innovative and inspiring moments, in its contents and way of sharing their ideias, throught the presentation of cases or live stories that are examples for all of us. Their experience and research in the areas of study, and from which they will expose their ideas, will surely represent a bonus for every participant.

There are 200 places available in the auditorium, and the registration will be done online, by paying the registration fee which is 25 euros. Seats will be allocated on first come first serve basis. From 6th of September you can already make your preregistration on our website. Surely our TEDx event will be a great mixture of networking and fun!
